Grant Applications and Nominations for Awards 

The grant cycle for the WSST Foundation runs from January 1 – December 31.  Applications will be accepted for grants to be awarded at the 2017 conference until December 31, 2016.  Please consider applying for Foundation grants.  The web page describes the grants available and the application process.

Each year the society recognizes educators, supporters of science education, and organizations who have been exemplary in their contributions to science education. 

Winners of the above awards are announced and recognized at the annual spring conference during the Milton Pella Banquet.

Rumford Memorial Award

The Rumford Memorial Award was established to showcase a science teacher that has been a member of WSST for at     least 10 years, made Presentations at least once during the spring convention, served productively for at least 4 years as officer, committee chair or district representative. WSST  is pleased to announce Brian Bartel (Appleton) as this year’s recipient.
